FitLog - The Private, All-in-One Training Log

fitness tracker

A private, all-in-one training log built for one person: you. Workouts, cardio, body measurements, nutrition, and goals โ€” logged in one file, with the volume math, weekly totals, and progress bars done for you.

Why this exists

One log for training, not five different apps.

A lifting app for sets and reps. A watch app for runs. A notes app for measurements. A diet app for meals. A spreadsheet for goals, if you're keeping one at all. None of them talk to each other, and none of them are built for you specifically โ€” you're one profile among millions.

FitLog is a single, private file that holds all five: it does the volume math while you're still in the gym, calculates your adherence against your own program, and turns a bathroom-scale reading into a goal's progress bar automatically.

One row per set

Log the exercise, sets, reps, weight and RPE โ€” FitLog calculates the volume (reps ร— weight) for every row and totals it at the top, alongside sessions logged, average RPE, and your adherence to whichever program you've assigned yourself.

Inside the download

Five tabs. One private training log that does the math for you.

Everything below is what's actually in the file you download โ€” not a mockup of a future version.

๐Ÿ‹๏ธ 01 โ€” Workout

One row per set, math included

  • Date, exercise (with autocomplete), set number, reps, weight, unit, and RPE for every set you log
  • Volume (reps ร— weight) calculated per row and totalled automatically at the top
  • Live weekly metrics: sessions logged against your assigned template, total volume, average RPE, and adherence
  • A free-text weekly reflection box for how the training actually felt
๐Ÿƒ 02 โ€” Cardio

Runs, bikes, swims โ€” anything that isn't a set

  • Log activity type, duration, distance, average heart rate, calories, and steps โ€” whichever apply
  • Leave fields blank for what you don't track; nothing is required beyond the activity itself
  • Weekly totals for duration, distance, and calories, right at the top of the tab
๐Ÿ“ 03 โ€” Measurements

A weekly snapshot of your body and how you're feeling

  • Weight, waist, chest, hips, arms, thighs, and body fat percentage โ€” log whatever's useful to you
  • Simple 1โ€“5 ratings for energy, sleep, and stress, plus a notes field for anything else worth remembering
  • Your latest weight reading automatically powers any weight-based goal you set in the Goals tab
๐ŸŽ 04 โ€” Nutrition

Meals logged one day at a time

  • Pick a day within the current week, then log meal type, description, calories, protein, carbs, fat, and water
  • Daily totals appear at the top, alongside your progress against a calorie target if you've set one as a goal
  • Nothing forces a full day's entry โ€” log one meal or five, whatever you actually ate
๐ŸŽฏ 05 โ€” Goals

Four kinds of goal, tracked across your whole history

  • Weight, Strength PR, Endurance, or Habit goals โ€” set a baseline, a target, and a target date
  • Weight and Strength PR goals update their current value automatically from your Measurements and Workout logs
  • A status pill โ€” On Track, At Risk, or Off Track โ€” plus a progress bar, based on your pace against the deadline
What actually sets it apart

Most trackers hide your screen. This one actually locks your data.

Real encryption, if you want it

AES-256, not a cosmetic lock

Turn on password protection and FitLog encrypts your entire log with AES-256, using a key derived from your password. It isn't a screen that hides while data sits readable underneath โ€” the file itself becomes unreadable without the correct password.

Genuinely unreadable without your password โ€” see the trade-off below
FitLog does the math

No spreadsheet, no calculator

Volume per set, weekly totals, adherence against your assigned template, goal progress from your latest weigh-in or PR โ€” all calculated the moment you log an entry. You show up and lift; FitLog does the arithmetic.

reps ร— weight, totalled automatically, every row
Built for a private log

Your training data isn't going anywhere near a server โ€” and locking it is a real choice.

FitLog is honest about both sides of that choice, because the second one has a real cost if you're not prepared for it.

Local only, by design

No server, no account, no network requests. Once the file is open, FitLog works completely offline, on the device you're using it on.

No password reset โ€” genuinely

Because your password is the encryption key, forgetting it means the data is permanently unreadable โ€” even to us. Export a JSON backup before you turn password protection on, not after.

Two ways to export

A full JSON backup you can re-import on any device, and a CSV export for opening your log in Excel or Sheets โ€” CSV is one-way, so JSON is what you restore from.

What you get

One purchase, two files

No upsells, no locked tabs โ€” this is everything included the moment you download.

FitLog, the app

The full five-tab training log โ€” a single file that opens straight in your browser, no install required.

The user guide

A 14-section guide covering every tab, password protection, and backups โ€” a calm start, not a manual.

From The Lifestyle Studio

Built for one person: you

"We didn't want another app tracking one thing for everyone. We wanted a log built for individual use โ€” no client lists, no multi-user setup โ€” that actually did the calculations we were tired of doing by hand ourselves."

Questions people ask

Do I need an internet connection?

No. Once the file is open, FitLog works completely offline โ€” an internet connection is never required.

Can I use FitLog on more than one device?

Each device keeps its own separate copy of your data. Use Export JSON and Import JSON to move your log between devices โ€” FitLog doesn't sync automatically.

What happens if I forget my password?

There's no reset โ€” your password is the encryption key itself, so a forgotten one means that data is permanently unreadable, with no way for anyone to recover it. Export a backup before you enable password protection, as a matter of course.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes โ€” the layout adjusts automatically for smaller screens, so it works well on a phone or tablet browser if you want to log a set between exercises at the gym.

How do I get the files after I buy?

Both files โ€” the app and the user guide โ€” are delivered instantly as a digital download, the same as every product in The Lifestyle Studio collection.
